The Hotel Melià Milano is situated in a wonderful residential area in Milan city centre. This quarter offers many stores and excellent restaurants. The hotel is located just some steps away from the Fiera trade fair facility and close to the famous San Siro Stadium, 5 minutes from the traffic interchanges for Malpensa airport and the main national highways. I have't left a review for quite some time but decided that Melia needs a little help as recent reviews were "off the mark" in my opinion. It's more of a conference hotel and the location is not in the tourist zone but blows the doors off of Starhotel Rosa Grand in "overall stay" category.

We stayed at this hotel for a four days in January 2010. We would like to thank you for service staff and the berakfast was great and the rooms are clean and comfortable.The city center is very close. The location is great. I can choose thie hotel if I visit Milan again.

Not sure why others have moaned about the location, this hotel is great value if you search the net we paid £289 for 3 nights b&b and the location is a bonus for traveling out side Milan and into Milan center due to public transport, Metro 2 mins away ., 8 stops, 8 mins and your in the center.
