We had a reservation at the Hotel Marconi. We were relocated to this, their sister hotel, due to some problem with the booking. However, they called a taxi for us and paid for it. We had chosen the Marconi for its proximity to the Central Station

Stayed here 2 nights with adult daughter in a triple booking. Room spacious for 2 but extra bed cramped it. All bathroom fittings and toileteries were top class and room well furnished and quiet.Reception excellent with helpful staff. Excellent breakfast and great location if travelling by train to and from Milan as we were 2 km walk to Duomo etc.

Hotel was chosen after checking area on Google Earth Streetview, via Scarletti is prettier than surrounding streets (little trees in planters along it's length) Area was quiet and felt safe to walk even at night. While it is perhaps a healthy walk from the Duomo and via Torino(shops) it is 120m to the Centrale Station and there you will find.
